Depart by coach to visit Rodmarton Manor to see one of the most complete of England’s “Arts and Crafts” houses. Complete in the sense that the family of the original builders still live here along with the collection of furniture by Gimson and Waals complemented by gardens of herbaceous borders and topiary. Lunch at Rodmarton Manor. |

Guided tour of the house by a member of the family followed by a light lunch (included) |

Depart to return to our hotel after a refreshing cup of tea. |

Depart by coach to visit Stanway for a private guided tour of this quintessential Cotswold manor house with its eclectic family collection and remarkable gardens complete with 300 foot fountain. |

Depart for lunch at the Plough Inn at Ford. A unique country pub with many racing associations, and overlooking the gallops of Jonjo O’Neill. |

Arrive Snowshill Manor the home of the astonishingly varied collection of Charles Wade, which ranges from Samurai armour to children’s bicycles, musical instruments and clocks. Here we shall go round the collection at our own pace after an introductory short talk. |

Depart Snowshill to return to Lords of the Manor for afternoon tea.

Meet in the Garden Room for a talk by your host Nicholas Merchant, on Paul de Lamerie, England’s Master Silversmith. If one man changed the face of England’s silver in the early 18th century it was this remarkable French Huguenot émigré. |

Talk by Ann Hopkins-Clarke on Bath, A City of Pleasure and Culture. Anne, a highly qualified Tour-Guide and former NADFAS lecturer, will set the scene on the history of Bath, from the days of the Romans.
